Two high school athletes joined "The Story" Friday to discuss the loss of their seasons due to school closures during the coronavirus pandemic, with one telling host Martha MacCallum that officials "have taken all hope away from us."
Goughnour also described the poor habits he has formed in his final year of school, saying that midnight deadlines for assignments have caused he and his fellow students to procrastinate. "For me, a senior, I'm going to college next year. That is going to be my life for four years," he said. "This year, I'm supposed to be creating the best habits for myself possible. But I've just been creating the worst habits for myself possible. I know I'm not the only one either."More Related News
