QNADohaThe Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Saturday took part in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership at the invitation of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhimi. HH the Amir was accompanied by an official delegation. On the sidelines of the conference, HH the Amir met with Prime Minister of Iraq Mustafa Al Kadhimi and President of Iraq Dr Barham Salih. HH the Amir also met with Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, HM King Abdullah II of Jordan and President of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.The meeting dealt with the most important topics on the conferenceâs agenda and the ways to activate its outcomes to serve the regionâs security and stability, in addition to the latest regional and international developments of joint interest.The meetings also reviewed bilateral cooperation between Qatar and each of the countries, and the means to enhance it in different fields. Earlier, on arrival at the Baghdad International Airport, HH the Amir and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhimi, a number of ministers and senior Iraqi officials, Qatarâs Ambassador to Iraq HE Khalid bin Hamad Al Sulaiti, Ambassador of Iraq to Qatar HE Omar Al Barzanji and officials of the Qatari Embassy.More Related News
