The future king and queen have resided at the plush cottage, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle, for more than two years.
As they weigh their options, sources claim that the pair are eyeing up Fort Belvedere — a stunning gothic-revival mansion located just a stone’s throw away from Windsor Great Park.
The 18th-century property was a known favorite of King Edward VIII, who had called the place home before becoming king — and again after he abdicated the throne to marry American socialite Wallis Simpson.
