While PM Modi will visit the poll-bound state for a day, Shah will stay there for two days.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a mega event in Patidar-dominated Saurashtra to woo the Patel voters.Patidar votes are very important for the Gujarat assembly elections. Patidars are said to be the king-makers for the assembly elections.

After the 2015 Patidar Andolan, many were unhappy with the BJP, which showed in the results of the 2017 elections.
