On its face, President Donald Trump’s “60 Minutes” appearance on Sunday was pretty standard Trump fare: The president lied repeatedly about the state of the country under his leadership, gloated in the face of his perceived enemies (including the journalist interviewing him, CBS News correspondent Norah O’Donnell), and delivered rambling, hollow responses to a growing list of serious questions facing his administration.
