Former India wicketkeeper-batsman Deep Dasgupta has said that a healthy competition between Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer will elevate their games to a whole different level. Deep Dasgupta's comment has come just before the start of the 3-match ODI series between India and England. The cricketer-turned-commentator reckoned that Shreyas Iyer will bat at number 4 for India in Tuesday's match in Pune. Notably, Suryakumar Yadav starred at the number 3 position in the last 2 T20Is against England as Shreyas Iyer also impressed while batting low down the order. Shreyas, who usually bats in the top four, batted at the fifth and sixth position in the T20Is. Rishabh Pant played ahead of the Mumbai batsman.
