India will look to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the five-match series against England when the two teams face each other in the third Test at Headingley starting on Wednesday. Rain has had a significant impact on the series thus far, with the first Test ending in a draw due to a washed out fifth day. India then went on to win the second Test at Lord's despite being behind for much of the match. A record 89-run stand for the ninth wicket between Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah turned the tide in India's favour in the first session, so much so that the visitors could declare at the start of the second session. They then dramatically ran through the England batting lineup, with the last wicket falling with just eight under eight overs to spare in the day.
