Asia Cup 2022: Match 2, Shahid Afridi praised Hardik Pandya for scoring 33 useful runs in the end and picking up three wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Former all-rounder Shahid Afridi heaped praise on Hardik Pandya for playing a vital role in India’s five-wicket win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 on Sunday, August 28 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Hardik won the Player of the Match award after he scored an unbeaten 33 off 17 balls and also picked up three wickets in the high-voltage match. Apart from praising Hardik, Afridi also lauded Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz for bowling their hearts out under extreme pressure.
Afridi took to Twitter and wrote, “When 2 strong teams play a big match and take it down to the last ball, then you know the fans have won as well because that’s what we want to see, a battle that is worth watching. @hardikpandya7 made his presence felt in both innings.
