Canadians are using food banks in the highest numbers since Food Banks Canada started tracking statistics in 1989, according to its new report.
Nearly two million people used a food bank in Canada in March 2023 alone. That's a 32 per cent increase from March 2022. With food prices still climbing in Canada, the heads of Canada's major grocery chains are being called back to Ottawa to speak with MPs about plans to stabilize prices.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun.
