Have gained weight post Covid: Siddaramaiah's dhoti comes off during heated debate in Karnataka assembly

During a heated debate in Karnataka parliament, the House was left in splits when Congress leader Siddaramaiah announced that he would have to continue his speech after a break as his panche (dhoti) was about to fall down.

While former CM and Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah was giving a speech in the Karnataka assembly, state Congress president DK Shivakumar interrupted him and whispered in his ear that his panche (dhoti) was about to fall down. What followed next left everyone in splits.

Siddaramaiah then said, "Oh, is that so?" and while sitting, announced to the entire house that he would continue his speech after tying up his dhoti.
