Donald Trump's presidency is being eaten alive by one thing, said CNN's chief data analyst.
Confidence in the economy under President Donald Trump is tanking, CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten noted on Tuesday.
“The economy and inflation ate Joe Biden’s presidency alive and now it is eating Donald Trump’s presidency alive,” he pointed out, citing recent polls.
Biden in January 2022 was polling on the economy at -19 points and Trump, who started his second term on +6 points, is now, at the same point in the term. down at -20.
“Down he goes,” Enten said of Trump. “Down the slide into the ocean he goes.”
“Donald Trump is actually in slightly worse position right now on the economy than Joe Biden was in his presidency,” he added.
"Sorry, what was that?" one critic hit back at the president on social media.
The president ignored the question and went on a tirade instead.
