Harry Enten Blares Alarm On Tanking Trump Push That’s Turning Into ‘Very Bad Politics’

The CNN analyst flagged a seismic “switcheroo” in polling on one of the president’s key policies.
CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten highlighted what he called a total “switcheroo” in public opinion on one of Donald Trump’s signature policies: deportations.
Support for Trump’s deportation agenda has plunged from +18 points in February 2025 to –8 points today, Enten noted during Monday’s broadcast of “News Central.”
The dramatic shift shows that “the Trump administration and Trump in particular has lost the center of the electorate when it comes to a key component of his administration’s agenda,” Enten continued.
Host John Berman noted that Trump initially enjoyed broad support for his promise to remove dangerous criminals from the country, but now most Americans no longer believe that’s what the policy is doing.
That change, Enten said, is “a big reason why” the overall polling has shifted so radically.
President Donald Trump cited his Nobel Peace Prize snub as a justification for his push to acquire Greenland in a letter to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere.
