Five members of a family, including a mother and four children, tried to kill themselves by consuming a poisonous substance over a land dispute in UP's Hamirpur.
A mother and her four children were in critical condition after they tried to end their lives by consuming poison over a property issue. The incident took place in UP's Hamirpur.
The family members were rushed to the Sadar Hospital in critical condition by neighbours.
The police reached the hospital and started the investigation. The police found out that ever since her husband passed away due to Covid-19, her relative had an eye on their property.
The suspect, identified as Kuldeep, allegedly used to torture her and her kids. Fed up with this, she, along with her kids, drank dye to end their lives.
The police are currently investigating the case. Further details are awaited.
