Hamilton police officer charged with pointing firearm at another officer during a shift

The Hamilton Police Service says one of its officers has been charged with pointing a firearm at a fellow officer while on duty last week.
Const. Brandon Terdik has been charged with pointing a firearm and careless use of a firearm, the service said a media release Thursday.
Police say Terdik allegedly pointed his service gun at another officer during his shift on Oct. 23.
The service said he has been suspended with pay.
He is set to appear in court on Nov. 25.
Police said they will not be making any further comment as the matter is before the courts.
The Hamilton Police Association did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
