As new Covid-19 restrictions are imposed, the gyms and fitness centres across Delhi are shut. Over 1 lakh employees of the fitness industry are once again staring at an uncertain future. The gym owners said about 25 per cent of gymnasiums failed to reopen after Covid-19 lockdown. They said re-introduction of restrictions might lead to a catastrophe on the entire industry.
Mahender Agarwal, managing director of the Energie Fitness, said if restaurants could run with 50 per cent capacity, so should fitness centres.
