Gujarat Anti-Corruption Bureau recovered Rs 2.27 crore in cash from an arrested government official in its biggest ever seizure.

The Gujarat Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) recovered Rs 2.27 crore in cash from Nipun Choksi, a government official who was arrested on July 16 for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 1.21 lakh. The ACB officials quickly issued a statement in which they said that this was the "biggest ever seizure" in the bureau's history.
