Greg Chappell recalls coaching stint with Indian team: Sourav Ganguly didn't want to work hard

Former India coach Greg Chappell alleged that Sourav Ganguly didn't like to work hard on his game as a player and only wanted to be in the side as the captain.
Greg Chappell has once again made shocking claims against ex-India captain Sourav Ganguly, who was the person responsible in bringing the Australian on board as head coach of the national team in 2005. Chappell recalled his controversial and tumultuous two-year coaching stint with the Indian team, alleging that Ganguly didn't like to work hard on his game as a player and only wanted to be in the side as the captain. Chappell's equation with Ganguly soured to such an extent that he lost his captaincy and place in the national team with Rahul Dravid taking over the reins. Notably, it was Ganguly who played a major role in helping the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hire Chappell as the coach.More Related News
