Greater Noida will finally get its first Aadhaar Seva Kendra on February 21, as per officials. The center will come up at Galaxy Blue Sapphire Plaza in Greater Noida West.
The residents were raising demands for an Aadhaar Seva Kendra in Greater Noida West for a very long time with CEO GNIDA t the jan sunwais (public meetings) held every Wednesday in the local area.
With the setup of this Kendra, it will benefit 5 lakh people of the area.
GNIDA CEO Narendra Bhooshan was quoted by Times of India as saying that it not only caters to Gr Noida but also to nearby districts such as Ghaziabad. Anyone in the country can get this service from this Kendra.
He further added, ‘’ From new Aadhaar cards to corrections in names, especially for women, who take the surname of the husband after marriage, can be availed from here.’’
Manish Kumar, senior vice president NEFOWA, said that it is a matter of great pleasure that the Aadhaar Service Center has been made ready in Greater Noida West, especially since the body had been pursuing this matter for over 1.5 years.
