
Graduation day held in Ranipet

C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology's 22nd graduation day emphasizes lifelong learning and entrepreneurship for graduates.
: The 22nd graduation day of C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology was held at its campus in Melvisharam town near Ranipet.
According to a press release, S. Ziauddeen Ahmed, chairman, Melvisharam Muslim Education Society (MMES), presided over the function in the presence of M. Mohamed Sherfuddin, President, MMES, and V. Mohamed Rizwanullah, College Correspondent.
In his inaugural address, Justice R. Subramanian, Madras High Court Judge, who was chief guest, emphasised that graduating alone was not the end of education and learning should be a life-long process. As the country does not have enough industries to give jobs for all graduates, they should become entrepreneurs. “Graduates should take care of their parents throughout their life as they should not go to old age homes. As the technology is changing day by day, the graduates should update themselves regularly,” he said.
Around 300 students received their degrees. A total of 14 students’ of 2023 batch are Anna University rank holders, who were honoured with medals and mementos on the occasion. College principal M. Sasikumar, was also present, the release said.
