GoPro Quik app for smartphones relaunched with new features

With the new version of the GoPro Quik Video + Photo Editor app comes a boatload of features such as Mural, video editing tools, Quik-exclusive filters, GoPro original music and more.

GoPro had an app by the same name for smartphone users. Through this app, users were able to remote control their GoPro camera and transfer data. Now, the company has modernized the app with big updates. The first one being the name of the app which is now called GoPro Quik Video + Photo Editor. With the new version of the app comes a boatload of features such as Mural, some video editing tools, Quik-exclusive filters, GoPro original music and more. Speaking of Mural, it is an interactive feature where users can revisit their favourite photos and videos. As the company states, "Quik solves the “black hole” problem of your phone’s camera roll and ensures you’ll never lose track of your favorite photos and videos again. The next time you capture that special “keeper” photo or video, you can conveniently share it to the Quik app where it will be added to your own private “Mural” feed within the app." Users can also share images that already exist in phone’s camera roll, text threads or wherever favorite images are kept. If you select multiple photos and videos to transfer to the Quik app at once, then it will group them together and produce a compilation highlight video beat-synced to music. However, users can make changes in those highlight videos as well.
