Gold, silver prices today: Both gold and silver are retailing on the lower side Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday. Check the city-wise rate card here.
On Tuesday, both gold and silver were trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). With a dip of Rs 231 or 0.46 per cent, gold futures, maturing on October 5, stand at Rs 50,525 per 10 grams on the MCX.
Meanwhile, silver futures also recorded a dip on the MCX on Tuesday. The silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, witnessed a jump of Rs 436 or 0.76 per cent on the MCX. The price stood at Rs 57,099 per kg.
Yesterday, when the market closed, gold futures were retailing at Rs 50,631 per 10 grams whereas silver was at Rs 57,491 per kg on the MCX.
In India, gold and silver prices depend on the value of the rupee against the dollar, and global demand plays a key role in determining the trends observed in the rate of precious metals etc.
