Glenn Maxwell hoping to seal Test spot in Australia's 2022 subcontinent tours: I've got the game to adapt

Glenn Maxwell said that while getting a spot in the Australian squad for the Ashes this year may be unrealistic, he is looking at their scheduled tours of India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka as a possibility.

Glenn Maxwell said that he still harbours hopes of adding to his seven Test caps for Australia but won't be cutting down on white-ball cricket considering there are three World Cups coming in the next three years. Maxwell's last Test came during Australia's 2017 tour of India and he said that it remains unrealistic for him to make the squad that will play the Ashes this year.

However, he looks at next year's scheduled tours to India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka as a realistic possibility.
