It is Week 2, and already the New York Football Giants find themselves teetering on the tightrope between urgency and desperation.
It is Week 2, and once again it will be getting late early for the New York Football Giants if they do not beat the Cowboys in Jerry World on Sunday.
Think about this: In six of his last seven seasons, the Eli Manning Giants started 0-2 and failed to sniff the playoffs.
Giants fans over the offseason looked at the daunting September schedule and shuddered. But at least they — and Russell Wilson — could sigh in relief a bit now that Micah Parsons no longer wears the star.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
