George Santos has been expelled from Congress. What happens next?
CBSN
NEW YORK - In an historic move, George Santos was thrown out of Congress Friday.
The House voted 311 to 114 to expel him, far surpassing the two-thirds majority required under the Constitution. Santos had survived two previous votes attempting to expel him. The first two efforts happened after he was indicted by the Justice Department in May, and then charged again with a superseding indictment in October.
Friday's vote happened after the release of a scathing report by the House Ethics Committee.

An internal watchdog report in the Department of Homeland Security identified serious vulnerabilities in TSA's screenings at airports nationwide — and the agency has yet to respond five months later, according to internal communications provided to House Homeland Security Committee staff and reviewed by CBS News.
