The movie star had a sarcastic message for anchor Jesse Watters.
George Clooney took a sarcastic swipe at Fox News’ Jesse Watters after a correspondent for Watters’ “Primetime” show confronted the movie star outside a theater in New York City.
Clooney, currently starring in his play “Good Night and Good Luck”,” was approached by Fox’s Johnny Belisario as he signed autographs for fans.
“Why did you wait so long to speak about Biden’s condition?” Belisario asked, referencing Clooney’s high-profile July 2024 New York Times op-ed calling for Biden to abandon his reelection bid and be replaced with a new Democratic nominee.
Clooney, smiling, responded: “Oh, hi man. Are you recording us now? Say hi to Jesse for me.”
“I’m a huge fan,” he then snarked.
