Geometry website launched

A geometry website - www.maxgeometricmaths.co.in - was launched by T. Asir, Head, Department of Maths, Director of DDE, Madurai Kamaraj University at CEOA School, Kosakulam, on Wednesday.
The founder-chairman of CEOA Group of Institutions and a mathematician M. Rajaclimax said that on the 1st of every month, a new geometry problem would be posted on the website and the one who solves it first would get a cash prize.
The problem for the month of April has been posted on March 31. Mathematicians from Andhra Pradesh - Saikumar and Lakshmanamurthy, who were present, said this initiative would kindle an interest in geometry. CEOA Educational Society president S. Sivaprakasm, chairman Samy, Senior Principal, Principals of various campuses and staff members were present.
