Gary Coleman's Ex-Wife Takes Lie Detector Test On Actor's Fatal Fall

Shannon Price recently took a voluntary lie detector test to put lingering questions about her ex-husband to rest.
Shannon Price is defending her decision to take her ex-husband, “Diff’rent Strokes” star Gary Coleman, off of life support after he badly fell at his home in 2010.
“I had no choice,” said Price in A&E’s upcoming special, “Lie Detector: Truth or Deception,” per People. “He had gone into cardiac arrest, and that is ultimately what took his life.”
Coleman suffered an intracranial hemorrhage after falling at his Santaquin, Utah, home on May 26, 2010. Price reportedly said during her 911 call at the time that she didn’t want to drive him to the hospital, however, because she was sick and feared she’d suffer a seizure.
Coleman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition by EMTs and placed in a medically induced coma. Price told the hospital to take him off life support two days later, even though his living will stated the process should continue for at least 15 days in such a scenario.
“I tried,” Price said during the special. “I tried to do everything in my will. Thursday I go visit him, speak with the doctors, and they are like, ‘Shannon, we do not think that he is going to make it until Friday.’ Meaning his condition is not going to get any better.”
