West Indies Cricket on Sunday confirmed that Test debutant Jeremy Solozano did not suffer any structural damage after getting hit on the helmet while fielding at short leg on Day 1 of their 1st Test against Sri Lanka in Galle. The cricket board revealed the scan results but maintained that the 26-year-old batter will spend the night at the hospital for further observation. In an unfortunate turn of events, debutant Jeremy Solozano, who was fielding at short leg, took a nasty blow on the front of the helmet just before Lunch on Day 1. Solozano was stretched off the field after the blow and was transferred to a hospital via an ambulance from the Galle Cricket Ground on Sunday.
