Franklin Graham on 5th anniversary of his father Billy Graham's death: 'I miss him'
Fox News
On the fifth anniversary of the passing of evangelistic leader Billy Graham, his son, Rev. Franklin Graham, shared thoughts with Fox News Digital about his father's legacy.
The Christian evangelist was one of the most admired people in the world. The faith leader held crusades from many corners of the globe — and along the way, counseled or interacted with numerous U.S. presidents as well, from Harry Truman to Donald Trump. Billy Graham personally interacted with or knew every U.S. president, said his son, Franklin Graham, "from Truman to Trump." "He would counsel people to put their faith and love in Jesus Christ." "I just miss him. I think of him probably every day." "I would have lunch with him. And we would talk, and I would keep him informed." "I felt that it was my responsibility in life … to help my father finish well." "It was a privilege to serve him." Maureen Mackey is managing editor of lifestyle for Fox News Digital.
Billy Graham died at his home in Montreat, North Carolina, on Feb. 21, 2018.
