Fox News Analyst Says Trump 'Knows' A U.S. Missile Blasted Girls School In Iran

The analyst explained to Bret Baier why the president wasn't directly admitting the fatal strike on the school.
Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin, who was personally attacked by former colleague Pete Hegseth months ago over Iran, may have invited the Trump administration’s wrath again on Monday. (Watch the video below.)
Griffin, the conservative channel’s national security correspondent, told anchor Bret Baier that President Donald Trump “knows” the U.S. bombed a girls school in Iran, killing a reported 175 at the start of the war. The president’s wavering responses to deny blame for the horrific strike have been an attempt to “muddy the waters,” she added.
After directly claiming it was Iran that hit the school in Minab, Trump slightly softened his stance on Monday. He said the “very generic” Tomahawk missile involved in the tragedy was in the hands of many countries and perhaps Iran as well.
Baier asked Griffin about the president’s remarks.
“That was a bit surprising to me because, basically, the U.S. has Tomahawks,” Griffin replied. “Tomahawks have to be fired from either submarines or from warships. The Brits and the Australians have Tomahawks, but they’re not part of this conflict. And then you also have the Japanese, who are in a testing phase. So it seems highly unlikely that it would be anyone’s Tomahawk other than a U.S. Tomahawk that hit that school. And I think the president knows that. He just knows that this is certainly a mistake, a big mistake, and it’s being investigated. But, he is trying to sort of muddy the waters by talking about the Tomahawks.”
