Four LeT militants killed; one soldier injured in Kashmir’s Shopian gunfight 

Four militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit were killed and an army jawan got injured in a gunfight in Manihal area of South Kashmir's Shopian on Monday. 

Four militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit were killed and an army jawan got injured in a gunfight in Manihal area of South Kashmir's Shopian on Monday. Inspector general of police (IGP) Vijay Kumar said four militants of LeT were killed while one army soldier received bullet injury in the gunfight. Elaborating on the encounter, IGP Kumar said security forces launched a cordon-and-search operation in Manihal area around midnight after they received information about the presence of militants in the area.
