Former officer slams school's 'absurd' ban on sister's pro-police flag in classroom
Fox News
Chris Sutherland, a former Marysville police officer, said there is educational benefit to having pro-police symbols in schools and said he doesn't understand why his sister, a teacher, was told to remove a "Thin Blue Line" flag from her classroom.
"It's kind of absurd in a way, if you think about it, because we're talking about a simple flag that represents law enforcement, which in a whole is a great organization," Sutherland told host Brian Kilmeade.
"I don't understand why my sister can't have that up on her wall."
