University faculty cited political climate as a factor driving students to SEC schools, with research showing students pay $2,000 more to attend colleges with like-minded peers.

The Auburn faculty member said that during the protests over the war in Gaza that rocked campuses across the country, "We didn’t really have those same challenges." Joshua focuses on politics, education policy ranging from the local to the federal level, and the parental uprising in education.
"When the world seems to be very noisy, there may be issues on campus, but it just shows up very differently for us. Some of those things really do matter to prospective students and families," he added.
