Florida superintendent's Parkland shooting testimony leads to perjury charge arrest
Fox News
Two school officials in Broward County, Florida, which includes Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, have been arrested in connection with a grand jury probe into the district.
The act was passed as a response to the deadly Parkland school shooting that killed 17 and injured 17 more on Valentine’s Day in 2018. Then-Gov. Rick Scott signed the new measures into law in March 2018. The single perjury in an official proceeding charge is a third-degree felony.More Related News
