Two Florida officers snapped a selfie to document their encounter with a large 10-foot alligator that had broken through a screen surrounding a backyard pool.
The New Smyrna Beach (NSB) police shared news of the reptile encounter on the department's Facebook page. Sydney Borchers is a lifestyle production assistant with Fox News Digital.
"This alligator made himself right at home overnight in Venetian Bay," the post said.
