Floral tributes to Bapu, visit to Khadi unit: Rahul Gandhi leads Bharat Jodo Yatra in Mysuru

Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Day 25 with Rahul Gandhi paying floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti in Karnataka's Mysuru.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti as the Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed from Badanavalu village in Karnataka's Mysuru on Sunday. He also visited a Khadi cooperative that began production in 1932. Mahatma Gandhi had visited the unit two times, in 1928 and in 1932.

"The 25th day of Bharat Jodo Yatra falls on the same day as Gandhi Jayanti. This morning @RahulGandhi is at a Khadi cooperative in Badanavalu village near Mysore where production began in 1932. Mahatma came to this village in 1927 and again in 1932. He had helped set up this cooperative," Congress' general secretary and in-charge of communications, Jairam Ramesh, said in a tweet.
