Three unoccupied floors of a house in DLF Phase 2 in Gurugram were sealed by the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) for violating norms.
Continuing its crackdown on unauthorised construction in the city, the department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) sealed three unoccupied floors of a house in DLF Phase 2 in Gurugram. The DTCP not only cancelled the Occupation Certificate (OC) of a residential building but also filed a complaint against the owner. Police registered a case against the owner of the building. The DTCP officials said that the design of the house violated the original plan.
Last week, the DTCP officials cancelled the OC of 41 residential properties. However, now the construction ban has been lifted in the city, which was imposed to curb the rising air pollution. On Monday, construction work remained suspended in most parts of the city as there was confusion among the residents about the status of the ban and the activities permitted.
