The first bottle of Domhayn "whisky," one of six matured in casks beneath the surface of Scotland's Loch Ness, sold at auction for over $1,000. The spirit's founder called the results "astounding."
The inaugural "Loch Ness edition" bottle, which comes from a 2010 single malt barley spirit with 55.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), recently sold at auction for £850, or about $1,133. Peter Burke is a lifestyle editor with Fox News Digital.
