The first lunar eclipse of the year dazzled skywatchers in Asia and Australia on Friday and Saturday, lasting for four hours and causing the moon to dim slightly.
In a four-hour-long eclipse, the moon passed within the outer part of the Earth's shadow, or what is known as the "umbra." Julia Musto is a reporter for Fox News and Fox Business Digital.
The penumbral lunar eclipse caused the moon to dim only slightly.
