A second-half brace from Sunil Chhetri on Monday helped India beat Bangladesh 2-0 in their Group E clash of the second round 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup joint qualifiers in Doha. Chhetri led from the front, scoring in the 79th and 2nd-minute of injury time to end India's 11-match winless streak. Chhetri also took his personal tally to 74 goals for the national team. India dominated the match from start to finish but were frustrated in the first half when they couldn't find the back of the net despite creating multiple chances.
