Fan asks Virat Kohli a ‘glimpse’ of daughter Vamika, India captain reveals stand on social media exposure

Virat Kohli responded to a fan who had requested him to share a photo of his daughter, Vamika. The India captain was answering fans' questions during his quarantine with family in Mumbai on Saturday.

Virat Kohli threw open his social media account on Saturday and engaged in a question and answer session with fans. The India captain is currently in quarantine at a Mumbai hotel along with the rest of his teammates in the lead up to the England tour. Virat Kohli took to Instagram and urged his fans to send him questions. Responding to a fan who had asked to share a glimpse of his daughter Vamika, Kohli said that Anushka Sharma and himself aren't keen on sharing photos of clips of their daughter. Notably, Kohli and Anushka had become parents to the baby girl in January 2021. "Vamika is another name for goddess Durga. No we have, as a couple, decided not to expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and make her own choice," Kohli responded to the fan.
