An Australian court is set to hear bail plea of Vishal Jood, a man from Haryana who was arrested in Sydney over charges of violence, on Thursday. His family members have alleged ill-treatment and denial of legal aid to Vishal Jood in Sydney. Speaking to India Today, Vishal Jood's father Nathi Ram said none of the Indian embassy officials paid a second visit to him. He claimed External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on June 23 had assured Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar that Vishal Jood would be released soon.More Related News
