The family members of the man buried his body in a cow dung pit in a bid to revive him in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district.

A body of a 37-year-old man was allegedly buried in a heap of cow dung by his family in a bid to revive him in the Surguja district of Chhattisgarh. The deceased, identified as Lakhanpur Mutki, was buried in a heap of cow dung for hours after he was struck by lightning. Mutki was rushed to a hospital but doctors declared him brought dead. Due to Cyclone Tauktae, Surguja district witnessed heavy rains and lightning. Giving credence to their superstitious belief, the family members of the man buried his body in a cow dung pit.
