FairBreak Invitational 2022: Everything you need to know about the T20 tournament

Players from India won’t be taking part as the BCCI, reportedly, didn’t allow them No Objection Certificates (NOC) for the tournament.
The inaugural edition of the FairBreak Invitational 2022 is set to get underway on Wednesday, May 4 and will be played until Sunday, May 15. The tournament was earlier set to take place in Hong Kong, but had to be shifted to Dubai due to issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The third place playoff and final will be held on May 15.
Six teams; Warriors, Barmy Army, Spirit, Tornadoes, South Coast Sapphires and Falcons, will take part in the tournament. Over 90 cricketers (40 from ICC full-member nations and 50 from associate members) from 36 nations will grace their presence in the championship to be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Former Pakistan all-rounder Sana Mir, Stafanie Taylor, Sindhu Sriharsha, Heather Knight, Suzie Bates and Bismah Maroof are the skippers of all the six teams. Mignon du Preez, who retired from international cricket after the 2022 Women’s World Cup in New Zealand, will also be there.
