Shares of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) surged sharply on Thursday, rising over 6 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).
At the end of Thursday’s trading session, RIL shares traded at Rs 2,494.40 or 6.10 per cent higher. On the NSE, shares of the conglomerate jumped 6.36 per cent to Rs 2,501.

As the war enters its fourth week, airlines are struggling to cope with a sharp rise in jet fuel prices, which have surged significantly in a short span of time. The impact is already visible for passengers, with ticket prices expected to rise in the coming months as airlines try to protect already thin profit margins.
