
Expedia customer says hotel requested cancellation because rate was too 'low'

A woman on Reddit says she booked a hotel through a special deal on Expedia and after receiving confirmation, the hotel messaged the tourist asking her to cancel the room.
"Basically made [a] booking of special deal on Expedia and got confirmation. Few days later I got a message from the hotel via Expedia messaging asking me to cancel because the rate is low for them!!," she wrote. Sydney Borchers is a lifestyle production assistant with Fox News Digital.
"I contacted Expedia and the agent said the booking is confirmed and the hotel should honor the booking as long as I don’t cancel."
