Every England player drawing confidence from India's win at the Gabba, says Joe Root

The Ashes: England captain Joe Root said that Australia's invincibility at the Gabba was shattered when they lost to an injury-riddled Indian team earlier this year and there will be some doubts in the hosts' minds as they will be playing a Test at the venue for the first time since the defeat.
England will be taking inspiration from India's win at the Gabba when they face Australia for the first Ashes Test later this year at the venue. The match will be Australia's first at the Gabba since their 32-year unbeaten run in Tests at the venue was broken by an Indian team devoid of some of their biggest stars like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah earlier this year.
"Look at that India team that won at the Gabba. They were a long way from their first-choice XI but they had no fear. They stood up to Australia and won crucial parts of that Test," Root told the Guardian.
