Euro 2020: Spain players have gone into isolation with less than just a week left for their opening match after captain Sergio Busquets tested positive for Covid-19.

Spain's preparation for Euro 2020 has been thrown into chaos after captain Sergio Busquets tested positive for Covid-19. The rest of the squad, a 24-member unit, has been moved into isolation with less than a week before their tournament opener. Following Busquets' Covid-19 positive test, Spanish Sports Minister Jose Manuel Rodriguez has said the entire squad will get a vaccine shot on Wednesday. So far, all the other players and staff have tested negative. An Under-21 side led by their coach Luis de la Fuente will face Lithuania on Tuesday in what was supposed to be the nation's final warm-up game before the Euros.
