England tour of India 2021: England captain Eoin Morgan has downplayed the verbal exchange between Virat Kohli and Jos Buttler during the 5th T20I between India and England.
During the series-deciding 5th T20I between India and England, a heated exchange between Virat Kohli and Jos Buttler happened. The two shared a spat after Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed Jos Buttler in the 13th over of the 225-run chase. Words were exchanged between the India captain and the England wicketkeeper-batsman after the latter said something after his dismissal. The 30-year-old was on his long way back to the pavilion when Kohli followed him. Buttler kept on walking towards the dugout before taking few steps back to confront the India star, who scored 80 not out runs in the match. England skipper Eoin Morgan, however, downplayed the entire incident and said that it’s not an uncommon happening for two people to engage in an on-field conflict.More Related News
