After the 2-3 T20I series loss vs India, England captain Eoin Morgan has said that no player form his side has booked his berth for the upcoming T20 World Cup. He added that the shortest format of the game is progressing faster than ever.
After facing a 2-3 loss against India in the T20I series which concluded on Saturday, England captain Eoin Morgan said that any player certain of his spot in the upcoming T20 World Cup is making a mistake. Morgan minced no words and went on to add that even he hasn't nailed down his position for the ICC event which be held in India from October. The World Cup-winning captain reckoned that the shortest format of the game is progressing faster than ever. "Nobody's nailed on. If any player including myself looks that far ahead and think that their position is nailed down, they're mistaken because we want to improve as the rest of the world progresses. T20 as a game is progressing faster than any other of the formats, so we need to be quite flexible in how we want to improve. We can't be rigid.More Related News
